Pattern designer & Illustrator

Tati Abaurre is a Brazilian pattern designer and illustrator based in Oakville, Canada. An illustrator of everything cute and sweet, Tati wonderfully finds the beauty in the everyday adding a touch of cuteness to everything she creates. She loves creating whimsical and pretty art that evokes a sense of wonder, often inspired by the beauty of nature, with a special focus on flowers, animals and birds. With a background in architecture, she has a masters degree in green building and sustainability from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Soon after graduating, while taking a kids illustration course at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, she fell in love with the fascinating world of patterns and illustrations. Since then Tati has licensed her work to be sold as kids clothing, kids accessories, children's books, kids decor, kitchenware, stationery, greeting cards, art prints and fabric. Her clients include Little Sleepies, FIGO Fabrics, LILIPINSO, Chic.Mic, Sho Bottles, YOYO Books, Up with Paper, Stormy Knight and Calypso cards. She is also the creator of BY TATI ABAURRE stationery brand, where she sells a range of lovely stationery including planners, notebooks and calendars.
